The Elder's Quest is a RPG of Plunder Games, which will appear in the spring of this year for iOS and Android. It is now also available in Early Access, as the developer has recently mentioned in a reddit thread.

The Elder's Quest aims to provide players a classic role-playing experience along with the own brand of the developer for silly and metabased humor. It will often mock to follow the proven tropics of the genre and just be a bit absurd.

The game takes place in a lattice-based surveyed, in which they move a small table-like character to different fields inside the grid. Each field you go into is either empty or there is an encounter like a battle or a dealer you can visit to buy new equipment.

The struggles themselves must be considered a side-on matter with elements of timing. To perform a slight attack, just tap the right side of the screen while holding down for a fiercer hit, whereby the wake of a enemy is broken. If you properly vote your lighter attacks, you can run a combination that means you cause damage rather than just swinging wild.

Meanwhile, the left side of the screen deals with the defensive side of The Elder's Quest. When you tap and hold, your character increases its shield, which blocks a part of the opponent's attack. If you wipe to the left, you can also perform an evasive maneuver that is crucial to avoid attacks that can not be blocked.

There is a wealth of other skills and weapons that can be activated, for example different finishers for even greater damage. It is certainly a very fascinating game that promises a lot of depth with its combat system.

The Elder's Quest will eventually be available in the App Store in the spring of this year and Google Play. It will be a free game with in-app purchases.
