The Dragon Age series should actually have no dragons at all

A Dragon Age without Dragon - What seems unimaginable to the series today was a long time during the development of Dragon Age: Origins reality. Originally, dragons should be extinct for a long time in the game. Ironically, a random name generator is responsible for being returned.

Dragon Age was created by random generator

Alix Wilton Regan actress Interview - Assassins Creed Origins, Dragon Age, Ghost Recon, The Wife In the interview with Thegamer, Lead Environmental Artist Ian Stubbington explains that Dragon Age originally had no high fantasy setting. Magic should therefore lose importance and have already been eradicated.

However, the fantasy game had a long time for a long time and was called only chronicles, which probably did not really liked anyone in the developer team. The solution? A random generator. One of the programming has been commissioned to build a name generator and to equip with fantasy words. The end result is the title known to us:

[[The Generator] was started and spit some names and with the most votes from the team was of course 'Dragon Age'. David Gaider (Lead Writer) replied with something like 'Hmm, then we better add a couple of dragons to the story ... '

The story had to be adapted to the new title. The planned Arzdämon (which was originally a mixture of Lovecraft and Final Fantasy should be) became the dragon and Gaider created a calendar system with different ages, which in the current age - the dragon - resulted in.

It may be strange today to imagine the fantasy series without dragons, but even strange would have been well to get a game called Dragon Age without Dragon. Even if the question is quite interesting, how a funny chronicles would have become well.
